The Flexible Truck Bed
Everyone uses their truck differently, and the Maverick’s truck bed honors that with its FLEXBED system. The spacious cargo bed has a length of 54.4 inches and a width of 53.3 inches. It comes with evenly spaced vertical and horizontal slots designed to fit 2×4 and 2×6 boards. These boards can be arranged to create bike racks or storage spaces, or be left open to give you a large space to haul up to 1,500 pounds of payload.
The Maverick comes standard with six tie-downs, which double as bottle top openers. There is an available 120V power outlet, and prewired 12V circuit. You can also add available LED box lighting. The flexible options in this truck bed make it easy to use the Maverick’s size however you need.

A 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine comes standard with front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available. It’s paired with a responsive eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain delivers 250 horsepower, and 277 lb.-ft of torque.
The standard Maverick has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. If you like towing more than that, you can double this number with an available 4K tow package, giving the new Maverick 4,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The Hybrid Option
There is an available 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain. Ford’s hybrid engine pairs with an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). It delivers an impressive 191 combined horsepower, and 155 lb.-ft of torque.
The Stylish Exterior
Ford is offering their 2024 pickup in nine different exterior colors, including Hot Pepper Red Metallic, Shadow Black, and Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat. These color options complement stylish features like the Black mesh grille with Black surround. The small truck comes with excellent LED headlights, and a cargo lamp integrated with a center high-mounted stop lamp.
The Modern Infotainment System
Ford’s eight-inch LCD touchscreen is well-placed in the center stack, so you can see everything you need to with only a glance. Your great system will come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
